We were impressed with the Exele TopView product and the feature rich capabilities. Collaborating strengthened both companies and provided a synergy between us that allows us to meet the needs of the market.
Martinsburg, PA (PRWEB) June 12, 2013
Today, Canary Labs announces a new product called TopView for Canary. Recognizing a need for alarming and notification capabilities utilizing the Enterprise Historian, Canary Labs entered into a partnership with Exele Information Systems located in East Rochester, NY. The partnership which began in April 2013, has led to the development of the TopView for Canary product which connects to the Canary Labs Enterprise Historian.
The Canary Enterprise Historian application transparently collects and logs real-time data directly from PLCs, working in sync but separately from the SCADA system. This archived data is made available through the Canary TrendLink product for ad-hoc analysis and reporting purposes. In addition, the Canary Mobile applications provides access to the data from remote locations.
Gary Stern, President of Canary Labs stated, “We were impressed with the Exele TopView product and the feature rich capabilities. Collaborating strengthened both companies and provided a synergy between us that allows us to meet the needs of the market.”
Exele TopView is designed to “keep an eye on your process” 24x7 and alert you to any pre-defined anomalies or problems before they become serious; saving time, equipment, material, and money. TopView is a comprehensive, cost effective alarm management and notification tool that is being widely used in the same market segments as the Canary Labs Enterprise Historian. The marriage of the products and the addition to the product line really provides a needed solution.
“Being a recognized leader providing data historian, trending and analysis for a wide range of applications makes Canary Labs a great partner. We are very excited about the expanded opportunities this collaboration brings for both companies, as well as our customers.” said Mike Fishman, Vice President Exele Information Systems.
