GlobaLinks Learning Abroad Wins Industry Judged Innovation Award for Internship Program’s Personal Brand Discovery Toolbox

GlobaLinks Learning Abroad, a leading provider of study abroad programs across the globe promoting academic, cultural, personal, professional, and social discovery, is the winner of a 2013 Innovation Award from GoAbroad.com for its Internship program’s Global Personal Brand Discovery Toolbox. Judged by a select group of international education professionals who make up the GoAbroad Innovation Awards Academy, the Global Personal Brand Discovery Toolbox was chosen from five finalists, in part for adding significant value to the internship abroad program by giving participants training and tools to enhance their future career path.

The GoAbroad.com 2013 Innovation Award winners were announced at the recent NAFSA 2013 annual conference & expo in St. Louis. Barbara M. West, director of internship programs for GlobaLinks Learning Abroad, accepted the award.

“In 2012, we set out to re-invent our internship program to respond to a growing need for international career experience,” West said. “One result was the Global Personal Brand Discovery Toolbox, which we believe completes the internship package for our participants so they can be successful not only during, but after their programs.”
