Train For E.H.R.'s online training course has been incorporated into Codesmart University's comprehensive medical coding programs. This will give students a dual certification opportunity.

Train For E.H.R. Enterprises is pleased to announce that it has formed a strategic alliance with Florida based Codesmart University. Codesmart, the industry leader in ICD-10 on-line Medical Coding Training, has incorporated Train For E.H.R.’s Electronic Health Record Course in Codesmart’s comprehensive medical coding programs, offering students an incredibly marketable dual certification opportunity.

Train For E.H.R.’s Electronic Health Record course was developed to prepare students for the National Healthcareer Association’s Certified Electronic Health Record Specialist exam. This course is for both on-line and blended environments, and includes on-line access to an interactive, real-time, fully functional CCHIT-certified EHR.

Codesmart’s medical coding programs of study are designed to provide both new and existing coders with a strong foundation in coding using ICD-10 guidelines. While coder certification is generally not required, most employers now prefer to hire employees who have passed a national certification exam and can prove mastery by earning credentials. Students who successfully complete the Codesmart program will be prepared to pass rigorous certification exams and will qualify for many opportunities within the coding field.

In addition to preparing students for National Certification, students enrolled in Codesmart University’s ‘Existing Coder’ course are now eligible for Continuing Education Units as certified by the two major certification bodies for medical coding, the Association of Professional Coders ("APPC") and the American Health Information Management Association ("AHIMA"). Codesmart University is endorsed by over 60 colleges and Universities nationwide for their quality of education.
