“We evaluated many companies to find the right organization best equipped to support our customers at the level they expect and deserve. We believe enChoice has the same culture and values that earned us the loyalty of our customers"

enChoice announces the acquisition of the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) practice of Lighthouse Computer Services. This acquisition includes Lighthouse customers, contracts and personnel who specialize in ECM, further strengthening enChoice’s leadership position and market share.
Lighthouse Computer Services has over fifteen years’ experience providing consulting, design and integration services for IBM systems. Lighthouse developed its ECM practice covering the Northeast region in response to its existing and new client needs. Since 2007, the investments Lighthouse made in developing the offerings was very successful and its customer base started to expand nationally. As a result, the decision was made to look for a partner who has the capability to serve customers on a national basis. Lighthouse’s criteria included companies that specialize in multi-vendor ECM offerings through the delivery of vertical solutions, has a large support infrastructure with high customer satisfaction ratings to minimize customer disruption and complementary professional services skills to ensure deployment success. Lighthouse decided enChoice was the perfect fit given their twenty years of experience in the ECM market.
Founded in 1993, enChoice is a software developer and solution provider with a full range of product, implementation, data protection and support capabilities for ECM systems covering IBM, EMC and Microsoft. As part of the acquisition, enChoice will continue to honor existing customer agreements and keep the current personnel in place to minimize disruption and ensure the highest level of satisfaction.
“As ECM systems become more commoditized, we need to continuously expand our vertical ECM expertise to differentiate ourselves in the marketplace,” says Tony White, CEO of enChoice. ”This acquisition gives us the ability to diversify our ECM offerings and increase our market footprint. We are especially excited to bring new blue chip customers and talented ECM professionals to enChoice. This acquisition will help us deliver world-class solutions and customer satisfaction for years to come.”
Tom Mrva, Founder and CEO of Lighthouse, added: “We evaluated many companies to find the right organization best equipped to support our customers at the level they expect and deserve. We believe enChoice has the same culture and values that earned us the loyalty of our customers and allowed us to be successful.”
Lighthouse and enChoice intend to build on their partnership by offering their full product portfolios of world-class IT solutions across their entire customer base. This market reach coupled with the product and services capabilities that each company brings will quickly translate into stronger relationships and increased value for these customers.
