Didier L. Peron, M.D., Gregory J. Fleming, M.D, and Marykate Vaughn, AuD, CCC/A, of Morristown Otolaryngology, have joined Summit Medical Group, New Jersey's largest multispecialty physician group. The offices of Morristown Otolaryngology at Summit Medical Group will remain at 26 Madison Avenue, Morristown, N.J. Dr. Peron, Dr. Fleming and Ms. Vaughn will continue to see patients at that location.
Didier L. Peron, M.D., has practiced with Morristown Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery since 1980. One of New Jersey's leading board-certified otolaryngologists, he has expertise in endoscopic sinus surgery, Coblation® tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, Balloon SinuplastyTM, the Piller® procedure for snoring, ear surgery, and care of the professional voice.
Dr. Peron earned his bachelor of science at the University of Paris, France, and his doctor of medicine at the University of Paris Medical School. He completed residencies in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery at the University of Montreal, Canada and Notre Dame Hospital, Montreal. Dr. Peron completed his residency in general surgery and otolaryngology, head and neck surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, N.Y. He completed his fellowship at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and Harvard University Medical School, both in Boston.
Dr. Peron is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a diplomate of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Otopathology Society, New Jersey Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, New Jersey Academy of Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Morris County Medical Society. He is the author or coauthor of articles and abstracts, which are published in the Annals of Otolaryngology, Archives of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, and Laryngoscope. He has delivered local, regional, national, and international invited presentations in his field. Dr. Peron has been a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Brunswick, N.J.
Gregory J. Fleming, M.D., has more than 25 years of experience providing medical and surgical care for disorders of the ear, nose and throat in children and adults. A well-respected, board certified otolaryngologist, he is skilled at endoscopic sinus surgery, Coblation® tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, Balloon SinuplastyTM and the Pillar Procedure® for snoring.
Before joining Summit Medical Group, Dr. Fleming was in private practice with Morristown Otolaryngology Group for many years. He is an attending physician at Morristown Medical Center and Goreyb Children's Hospital in Morristown, N.J. and a consultant at Overlook Medical Center, Summit, N.J. Prior to moving to New Jersey, Dr. Fleming was an attending physician and clinical instructor at Harvard's Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Boston. In addition, he practiced at Harvard Community Health Plan, also in Boston.
Dr. Fleming graduated summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Mass., and earned his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Worcester, Mass. After medical school, he did internships in both internal medicine and general surgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital, New Haven, Conn., and University of Massachusetts Medical Center, respectively. Dr. Fleming completed his residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Harvard's Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.
Dr. Fleming is a diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is also a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.

Marykate Vaughn, AuD, CCC/A, has more than 20 years' experience in comprehensive diagnostic and hearing aid services for infants, children, and adults. Her expertise includes diagnostic audiologic evaluations, hearing aid dispensing, hearing aid counseling, speech mapping, pediatric visual reinforcement audiometry, pediatric conditioned-oriented response, and auditory processing. Ms. Vaughn has worked in diverse environments, including hospitals, private practice, and otolaryngology and industrial settings.
In addition to her position with Morristown Otolaryngology at Summit Medical Group, Ms. Vaughn is an adjunct faculty member for the department of communication disorders and deafness at Kean University, Union, N.J. She has been senior clinical audiologist and supervisor of audiology services and staff for Speech and Hearing Associates, Westfield, N.J. From 1992 to 1998, Ms. Vaughn was a gubernatorial appointee and then chair to the New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety Division of Consumer Affairs Audiology and Speech - Language Pathology Advisory Committee.
Ms. Vaughn earned her bachelor of science cum laude in speech - language pathology and audiology at The College of New Jersey, Ewing, N.J. After completing her master of arts with distinction in audiology and communication sciences at Kean University, Ms. Vaughn earned her doctor of audiology at the Arizona School of Health Sciences, Mesa, Ariz.. She is a member of the New Jersey Speech, Language, and Hearing Association, New Jersey Speech, Language, and Hearing Association Board, American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association, New Jersey Academy of Audiology, and Educational Audiology Association.
