Q Software: Security & Compliance Solutions
With its powerful yet easy-to-use security management, Segregation of Duties and auditing capabilities, Q Software Version 5 can be an extremely cost effective security and compliance solution for Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne

Q Software Global Ltd, a Gold level member of Oracle® PartnerNetwork (OPN), today announced it has achieved Oracle Validated Integration of Q Software Version 5 with Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1.

The QSoftware Version 5 Suite works with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne security, enabling customers to set up and manage a robust security environment with integrated Segregation of Duties (SoD) and multiple roles management. Security implementation and on-going management is simplified and significantly reduces effort. Security for a new user or role can be set up in minutes. Authorized security changes can also be made in minutes.

To achieve Oracle Validated Integration, Oracle partners are required to meet a stringent set of requirements that are based on the needs and priorities of the customers. Written within the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development environment, QSoftware Version 5 looks and feels like other JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications.

“With its powerful yet easy-to-use security management, Segregation of Duties and auditing capabilities, QSoftware Version 5 can be an extremely cost effective security and compliance solution for Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne,” said Stephen Davis, Managing Director at Q Software Global Ltd. “We are pleased to continue our on-going commitment to Oracle and Oracle’s JD Edwards customers with this validated integration of the latest release of our QSoftware suite.”

“Oracle Validated Integration applies a rigorous technical review and test process,” said Kevin O’Brien, senior director, ISV and SaaS Strategy, Oracle. “Achieving Oracle Validated Integration through Oracle PartnerNetwork gives our customers confidence that the integration between QSoftware Version 5 and Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1. has been validated and that the products work together as designed. This helps reduce deployment risk and improves the user experience for our joint customers.”

Security automation features work with Solution Explorer Task Views to create matching security and can capture security from earlier releases of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne implementations to take forward into the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1 environment.

Security can be checked for conflicts and Segregation of Duties violations across multiple roles before changes are committed to the Oracle’s JD Edwards security table, thereby protecting customers from inadvertent errors and minimizing the risk of unintentional posting errors or deliberate attempts to commit fraud.

The QSoftware suite also enables customers to build security using preconfigured reusable components, which can be linked together to quickly and safely build security for users or roles.
