Primetime Medical Software enhances the breadth of patient interviewing options by acquiring Cobalt Medical assets and the Chartbuilder platform.

Primetime Medical Software, Inc., a market leading provider of patient entered data technology, has closed its acquisition of the assets of Cobalt Medical, a company that has developed methods of improving the exchange of clinical information between patients and physicians. With this acquisition, Primetime Medical Software strengthens its leadership position as a global provider of patient interviewing software.

“I believe this acquisition benefits clients of both businesses because it expands the depth and breadth of our offering, giving us more tools and the input of an additional 40 physicians”, said Matthew Ferrante, CEO of Primetime Medical Software, Inc.

“Primetime Medical Software is the clear leader in patient-entered data. The merger will enhance ChartBuilder with integrations with almost every major Electronic Medical Record and an established distribution network. It was an obvious growth strategy for us to align with Primetime Medical”, said James P. Blasingame, MD, Founder and CEO, Cobalt Medical.
