It will be anchored by high quality food & beverage tenants. A new 5,300 SF fine dining establishment with outdoor seating for 48 will join the existing restaurant anchor Viva Bistro & Tapas Lounge to bookend the site. The tenant lineup will likely include the following retail categories: gym/fitness center, massage/spa, coffee/bakery/café, specialty grocer, frozen yogurt, fast casual dining.

The retail shops & restaurants will be organized along an 11,000 SF outdoor “promenade” that will be the defining element of the project. The Promenade is designed to be the ceremonial “front door” of Wyomissing Square, providing an elegant public gathering space and creating the perfect context for what will be Berks County’s most upscale shopping & dining destination.
High Quality Design & Building Materials
Custom milled Douglas fir wood storefronts are being provided for all retail spaces and custom wood canopies will be installed over all window bays. Wood frame and fabric awnings will be installed over all double door storefront entries. Awning fabric will include signage for individual tenants and building mounted awning lighting.
Central Town Center Location
The Promenade is conveniently located at the doorstep of Berks County’s largest employment hub and its most affluent residential neighborhoods. It’s the first new retail center developed in such a prime location since the1970s.
Wyomissing Square Mixed-Use Center
The Promenade is the final component of a larger mixed-use brownfield development project that began back in 2007 and transformed a formerly underutilized 13-acre brownfield infill site with an adaptive reuse of an abandoned industrial building into a thriving mixed-use center with a 248-unit luxury apartment complex known as 100 Park and a 135-room Courtyard Hotel by Marriott. In addition, a separate 60,000 SF office build was renovated and rebranded as Berkshire Professional center. An existing restaurant - Viva Bistro & Tapas Lounge - was remodeled and repositioned during this phase as well and currently occupies the 13,000+ SF endcap space nearest Park Rd.
100 Park, Berks County’s premier apartment community is 96% leased with 282 full-time residents. The Courtyard hotel– Berks County’s first Marriott—has raised the bar for the local hotel and fast became the market leader in rate and occupancy.
