The Philadelphia Phillies rallied to beat the Minnesota Twins Thursday as they snapped their five game losing streak. Pitcher Cliff Lee allowed two runs in the seventh inning while Ben Revere of the Phillies had four hits to beat the Twins 3-2. Lee gave up only one hit and faced the minimum number of batters in 6 1/3 innings before some Phillies players got on base. The Phillies then had a 2-1 advantage in the seventh after Morneau hit a two run double. In the top of the eighth, pinch hitter Kevin Franderson hit a double to score the tying run. After missing the diving catch in the seventh that gave the Twins the lead, Revere was the one to score the go ahead run in the eight inning to lock in the win for the Phillies. It was a wild game at Citizens Bank Park, and the Phillies the win they desperately needed. The Phillies will next play today at Coors Field against the Colorado Rockies. The Phillies won 7 of 9 meetings against the Rockies in 2012, and has taken a noteworthy 27 of the last 33 games against Colorado. The Rockies are 3-4 on their ten game home stand after dropping two of three against the Nationals. After the Phillies rallied to beat the Twins, they should have plenty of confidence to beat the Rockies yet again.
