Produce Shop Will Offer Farm Fresh Fare at Affordable Prices

Students, faculty, and neighbors of the University of Washington can look forward to a new food shop opening this fall on University Way. Crisp Harvest Market, founded here in Seattle, will debut their unique retail concept of serving the bounty of a farmers market all week long in small urban stores when they open their first ever location across the street from the University Bookstore.

Longtime natural foods grocer and company founder Jeremy Knapman says “Crisp will offer high-quality, local and regional produce, including organic and specialty produce, direct from farms at low prices.” Their full product mix will include grab-and-go salads, precut produce, bulk foods, local beer, wine, coffee, dairy, grocery, and bakery items. “We are excited to be a part of such a great community.”

Construction of the new 4,300 square foot market is set to begin this summer. Progress of the build out and employee application information will be made available online in the weeks to come at or Like Us on Facebook to keep up to date
