Country Star Billy Currington to Perform at Gallo Center for the Arts August 1

Platinum-selling recording artist with seven #1 hits on tour as he prepares to launch his first album in three years.

Singer Billy Currington, who emerged on the country music scene in 2003 and has since sold millions of albums, will make his first appearance at the Gallo Center for the Arts on Thursday, August 1. His performance will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets range in price from $39 to $109. The $109 ticket lets fans stand in the orchestra pit for the performance. Only a limited number are available. Tickets may be purchased online at, by calling (209) 338-2100, or in person at the Gallo Center ticket office, 1000 I Street in downtown Modesto.

Currington's show will feature fan favorites that have gone to #1 including "Don't," “People Are Crazy,” “That’s How Country Boys Roll,” “Must Be Doin’ Somethin’ Right,” “Pretty Good At Drinkin’ Beer” and “Good Directions.” He also is expected to perform songs from a new album, "We Are Tonight," to be released September 17. It is Currington's first in three years. The lead single from the project, “Hey Girl” is currently in the Top 25 and is receiving heavy play on country radio.
