Financial Education Without a Sales Pitch

It's obvious why they have such deep roots in St. Louis

Southern Commercial Bank, an over 120 year old bank based in St. Louis, MO recently offered a new service - Financial Independence Training (FIT). The Get FIT! program was hosted by Southern Commercial and included professional training from Four Seasons Financial Education, a financial wellness firm specializing in personal financial education. The program is meant to offer customers and the public a value-added service not typically available through other banks.

"Financial education is key to financial success," says Lisa Reece, Southern Commercial's Vice President and Marketing Officer. "We train our own employees to become more financially savvy, so we thought our neighbors as well as our customers would benefit from the same training."

The results of the new program have been very positive since launching just a few weeks ago. Four Seasons President, Travis Freeman, commended the bank by saying, "It's obvious why they have such deep roots in St. Louis. They care about their customers and enjoy giving back to the community." Contact information can be found at http://www.southerncommercialbankstl.com.
