Last week WineSimple announced that v1.2 of their mobile app for iPhone was released in the iTunes store with improvements to its proprietary Dynamic Dual Model Algorithm™ (“D2MA™”) and other upgrades making it easier for consumers to find recommended wines where they are shopping. It also disclosed that the app worked at select Target, BevMo, Total Wines, Trader Joe’s and Lucky’s locations.
Today, the Company announced that it has added more Target, BevMo, and Total Wines locations where consumers can find recommended wines.
Additionally, Wine Simple announced its partnership with Market Fresh, a new fresh food focused retail brand. Market Fresh is a subsidiary of Pacific Convenience and Fuels, a leading convenience store chain located throughout the western United States.
Market Fresh will roll out WineSimple in its retail formats beginning this fall.
WineSimple will also be promoted at Pacific Convenience and Fuel C Store locations across California and the Pacific Northwest.
Justin Jackson, Market Fresh Director said, "Our C Store format will place a greater focus on wine and we think this is a perfect solution for our consumers who are looking to cut through all of the options to find a wine matched for them."
Robert Miller, CEO of WineSimple said, “Many consumers are confused and/or overwhelmed by the number of wine options. The result is that they end up buying the same wine every time or avoiding wine altogether. Working with partners like Market Fresh to recommend wines that are available where consumers are shopping will encourage those consumers to both try new wines and buy more wine. We’re very excited to have Market Fresh as a partner.”
