Popular RV lifestyle blogger Mike Wendland will be covering the Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA) 88th Family Reunion and Motorhome Showcase, June 19 to 22, 2013, at CAM-PLEX in Gillette, Wyoming.
The gathering in Gillette will help to celebrate the FMCA’s 50th birthday celebration. Originally, the FMCA was founded in July of 1963 by a group of “house car” owners who gathered in Hinckley, Maine.
"This is one of the premiere events of it's kind," said Wendland, who is blogging his way west from his Michigan home with his wife, Jennifer, who often appears with him in his travel videos. "This is where you learn the latest trend in recreational vehicles."
The event will celebrate the history of the FMCA by showcasing scores of memorabilia from that highlight the 50-year history of the world’s largest motorhome organization.

The Wendlands are traveling in a new 24-foot long eco-friendly eTrek, built by Roadtrek Motorhomes of Kitchener, ON, Canada. It has solar power and generates its own electricity with all the amenities of home.
