A' Design Award and Competitions are happy to share that the project Beertone by Alexander Michelbach and Daniel Eugster has been announced as a winner of the famous Platinum A' Design Award in Idea Design Category and elected as one of the winners by the transnational judges of the A' Design Award & Competition amidst numerous participants.

Beertone is the first Beer Reference Guide based on the different beer colors, presented in a glass form fan. For the first edition information has been collected based on 202 different Swiss beer types and gathered through travelling around the country. The whole process took a lot of time and detailed logistic but the result of these project make creators very proud. Furthermore, new editions are already planned for exploration.

The Platinum A' Design Award
The Platinum A' Design Award is a prestigious award given to top 1% percentile designs that has exhibited an exemplary level of sublimity in design. The designs are judged by a panel of three different jury which is composed of Academic, Professional and Focus Group Members. The designs are evaluated with score normalization to remove any biases and are voted on aspects such as functionality, ergonomics, engineering, presentation, innovation, usability, fun details, technology, and any other specific points that could be considered, each of these points are further weighted for different jury groups.
