Some of the topics that will be covered during this live Neurology CME meeting are Pain Management, Multiple Sclerosis, Mental Illness and Sleep Disorders.   •     Identify evidence-based practices, peer interactions and discussions within the interdisciplinary care teams, and a robust clinician-patient communication dynamic that supports integration into an individualized personal action plan that will improve clinical performance and patient health outcomes.

The following learning objectives pertain only to those requesting CNE credit:

  •     Identify validated questionnaires used to assess symptoms of psychiatric and neurologic disorders;
  •     Describe best practices for diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric and neurologic disorders based on review of high-level evidence and discussions with clinical experts and colleagues; and
  •     Identify key patient education and counseling messages that should be shared with patients who have psychiatric and/or neurologic disorders in order to improve levels of health literacy and rates of treatment adherence.
