2013 Advances in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s Clinical & Research Conference Announced

The “can’t miss” event for healthcare professionals and researchers who study and manage patients with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) has been announced for 2013. Endorsed by the ACG, AGA, and NASPGHAN, the conference offers workshops, a two-track format designed for clinicians, researchers, allied health professionals, nurses, and pediatric gastroenterologists.

The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) and Imedex are pleased to announce the 2013 Advances in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s Clinical & Research Conference taking place in Hollywood, Florida on December 12-14, 2013.

This activity is intended for gastroenterologists, pediatric gastroenterologists, IBD sub-specialists, internists, gastroenterology nurses, gastroenterology mid-level providers, gastrointestinal surgeons, clinical researchers, and other healthcare professionals with an interest in the treatment of pediatric and adult patients with inflammatory bowel diseases.

This conference is endorsed by American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) and the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (NASPGHAN), and organized by Imedex, LLC and sponsored through the UAMS College of Medicine Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. This continuing nursing education activity has been submitted for approval to the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates, Inc., an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Co-chaired by Richard P. MacDermott, MD, MACG, FACP, AGAF and Stephen B. Hanauer, MD, FACG, AGAF, the outstanding faculty is comprised of 60 expert specialists who will lead the sessions and interact with conference attendees. This three-day conference offers exciting workshops and a two-track format designed for clinicians, researchers, allied health professionals, nurses, and pediatric gastroenterologists.
