BrightPlanet Corporation is pleased to announce the addition of Christopher Hickey to the BrightPlanet team. Hickey brings a wealth of experience in the intelligence community and will serve as a Deep Web consultant with special focus on state and federal law enforcement and intelligence organizations.

Hickey, a retired naval intelligence officer, comes to BrightPlanet with more than 24 years experience in intelligence collection and analysis operations, crisis management, state and local intelligence fusion center operations, counter/anti-terrorism analysis and open source intelligence (OSINT). He has been involved in the integration of OSINT and Deep Web intelligence into all source analysis since the late 1990s when he served as the Director of Watch Operations at iJET Risk Management Systems.

A veteran of the national intelligence community, Hickey has worked at the Office of Naval Intelligence, Marine Corps Intelligence Activity, Coast Guard Intelligence Coordination Center, and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Intelligence and Analysis.

"I am very excited to join the BrightPlanet team as I have been a believer in its approach to solving the Deep Web intelligence collection challenge,” said Hickey. “The services and Deep Web data mining technology offered by BrightPlanet could be a force multiplier for state and federal law enforcement and intelligence organizations, as well as for private industry."
