Snapshots n’ Truckstops – New Photo Contest for Truckers

Freightopolis Asks Long Haul Truckers to Share Snapshots of Life on the Road, an innovative freight shipping platform, is starting a summer-long photo contest for long haul truck drivers. The Snapshots n’ Truckstops social media campaign is designed to be a creative and original diversion for drivers who normally spend long hours behind the wheel alone, and are the perfect candidates for Freightopolis' “Accidental Adventurer" title. The pictures will be collected and 3 winners will be announced every month. The best pictures will be showcased at the end of the 4-month contest in print, as well as online. Each driver who has entered a winning photo will be offered a book of pictures along with a $350 gift certificate from the Pilot Flying J.

The contest offers a creative outlet for truck drivers, who are more likely to experience beautiful, bizarre, inspiring or memorable scenes than regular drivers. Freightopolis is asking those “Real Truckers” who are taking part in this contest to share their photo memories on the Freightopolis social media pages. Follow Snapshots n’ Truckstops on Facebook and on the Freightopolis website.

The rules of the contest include that pictures cannot be taken while driving, and they cannot be of an offensive or inappropriate subject matter. Apart from these requirements, it’s a free spirited contest, where a cow on a rooftop is just as eligible for a prize as a snapshot of an idyllic sunrise over the mountains.
