Prague and LA Based Film and Reality TV Production Firm Unveils New Identity

Through rebranding our message is focused -- we’re a global, will-do company offering a talented team of international directors and a full range of services.

When founder and managing director Dan Frisch went searching to rebrand his global film production company, he had one goal in mind, to take potential clients from point A to point B as quickly as possible. “In rebranding, we identified a common word that best describes what we do, no matter our function -- production. It’s what we do best.”

“Our previous name, International Production Company, not only pigeon-holed us as an ‘international’ company (the U.S. is a very big market for us,) but we could not own the matching domain name, so we went with (clunky.) Now we are Production Inc, with the exact matching web address. It’s clean, neat and like the saying goes, ‘everyone knows your name.'”

The rebrand was spearheaded by Tungsten Branding, a company naming and branding firm based in North Carolina. “In any business, customer service is 9/10th of the law, and (owner) Phil Davis delivered this personally. Phil understands and gives you as much room as you need or want to be collaborative,” Frisch continued.

The company rebrand also included a complete makeover of the company website and social media pages, creating a more visual and interactive experience. “We needed to address our entire web presence. Like so many companies, ours was dated. So we focused on how we were going to approach new business.”

That focus now includes a lineup of top tier talent, directors such as automotive expert Simon Brand and celebrity specialist Scott McCullough. The site features a showcase of eight directors’ film work, from beauty and fashion television commercials to documentary and corporate video production.

“Our directors have worked all over the world and know how to get the message across to the consumer in a memorable and actionable way - and we wanted to highlight their talent,” Frisch emphasized.

In addition to the directors, the rebrand positions the company squarely at the intersection of production and production services. “While some aspects of the industry remain the same, marketing and advertising, production and production services, have changed dramatically. And like any playing field, you either adapt to the changes, or get beaten by them.”

The company operates primarily from its Los Angeles and Prague headquarters, shooting commercials, films, scripted and reality television, corporate video and music videos. The firm’s list of credits includes Hostel, Jumper, Pink Panther, Middle Men and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen to name a few. The firm has also been tapped to film segments of The Bachelorette and The Amazing Race.

“Thanks to rebranding, our website and social media are working with us,” Frisch concludes. “Our message is reaching the people and businesses we need, and who need us.
