The Warriors and Quiet Waters Foundation was founded in 2008 by former US Marine Colonel Eric Hastings. During the month of July 2013 the Heart Rate Watch Company is asking that you help support this very worthy cause with them.

"The whole point of the program is therapeutic recreation for veterans who have lost limbs or experienced a disability in serving their country," says Rusty Squire, President of the Heart Rate Watch Company. He adds, "These military veterans come to Montana to experience some time on the blue ribbon trout streams and waters in drift boats with experienced guides."

THE MISSION

To provide traumatically injured U.S. servicemen and women from Iraq and Afghanistan with a high quality restorative program, utilizing the therapeutic experience of fly fishing on Montana waters.

"These servicemen and women have made large sacrifices in protecting our freedom and even small donations help the Warriors and Quiet Waters program make these dreams come true for these traumatically wounded combat veterans," says Squire.

OUR MILITARY COMMITMENT

The Heart Rate Watch Company has offered servicemen and women discounts on fitness devices for five years and is committed to our countries military. "These discounts have amounted to tens of thousands of dollars donated to our military over the years," says Squire. He adds, "Now we want your help in supporting a great cause that helps these brave warriors feel reconnected to a very therapeutic experience that helps heal their wounds".

"I've been a fly fisherman for over 30 years and used to be the President of Eagle Mount, an organization that provides these same opportunities for children terminally ill with cancer", says Squire. He adds, "When Warriors and Quiet Waters moved into our office building and I talked to Eric Hastings it just seemed like a great fit for our company."
