Wayne, PA (PRWEB) June 19, 2013
SkillSurvey®, Inc. has announced that 31 of the hospitals listed on the Becker's Hospital Review 2013 annual list of “100 Great Hospitals in America” are users of SkillSurvey®’s Pre-Hire 360® reference-checking software.
To develop this list, the Becker's Hospital Review editorial team accepted nominations, conducted research and considered other reputable hospital ranking sources. The organizations that made the list are continually improving upon themselves and are innovators for medical treatments, research, technology and care delivery. These hospitals are home to medical breakthroughs and act as anchors of health within their respective communities. Of the 100 hospitals that were recognized, nearly one-third are clients of SkillSurvey® and use its Pre-Hire 360® reference-checking solution to improve hiring outcomes.
“Hiring talent that exhibits behaviors for success are critical for a healthcare organization’s efforts in delivering excellent care and becoming a leader in medical treatment and research,” said Ray Bixler, president and CEO of SkillSurvey®. “Our solution provides recruiters and hiring managers with direct feedback on a candidate’s past performance, allowing organizations to predict good hires and to decrease involuntary turnover. In addition, research shows that hospitals using SkillSurvey’s Pre-Hire 360® solution have higher HCAHPS scores than those who do not use the solution1.”
Pre-Hire 360® automates the process of gathering input from a job applicant’s references by using behaviorally-based surveys delivered over a web-based platform. The surveys delve into a candidate’s strengths and developmental needs. Confidential input from managers, peers, subordinates and business partners provides a multi-dimensional view of the candidate’s past performance. The system overcomes the usual discretion of former employers because they are released from legal liability and their feedback is confidential.
Leading hospitals that use Pre-Hire 360® also benefit from building a community of passive candidates with The Q®, a new talent portal and social network that allows organizations to source talent by turning references into candidates. When they join, references' profile information is automatically captured in The Q®, giving recruiters a way to stay in touch with references and approach them for positions in the future.
