Telax Hosted Call Center announced today the completion of another successful certification: adding PCI certification to its existing SAS 70 Type II and a third-party review by KPMG to go above and beyond the industry norm.
The PCI Data Security Standard is a complex security standard created to help protect consumer account data. The standard includes rigorous requirements for security management, policies, procedures, network architecture, software design, and other critical protective measures that service providers need to comply with. The Telax hosted solution is natively PCI compliant and achieved its most recent third-party certification in this standard on May 22nd 2013.
Telax is certified with: SSAE 16 Type 2, CSAE 3416 Type 2, and ISAE 3402 Type 2 Reports and Web Seals. For Telax clients this means gained confidence that IT controls are placed in operation, suitably designed, and operating effectively. SSAE 16SOC1 type2 which replaced SAS 70 type2 has become a widely recognized standard for service organizations that must demonstrate evidence of their control objectives and activities.
