We view certification by HAMP as a boon not just for qualified homeowners, but also for the real estate and mortgage markets in the areas we serve and the housing market in general.

Effective June 1st, 2013 Peak Loan Servicing (, a full spectrum mortgage loan servicer which oversees the entire loan process from origination to REO and disposition and part of the Peak Corporate Network, will be playing an expanded role in qualifying and servicing mortgage loans for homeowners seeking to modify their loans to avoid foreclosure. This becomes possible with Peak’s qualification to participate in the Treasury and Housing and Urban Development Departments’ HAMP (Home Affordable Modification Program).

“We couldn’t be more pleased to have been granted HAMP certification,” said Scott Sawyer, industry specialist and spokesman for Peak Loan Servicing. “It allows us to reach out to a broader base of homeowners – even more of those who are struggling to keep up with mortgage payments and seeking to modify their loans and retain ownership. We view certification by HAMP as a boon not just for qualified homeowners, but also for the real estate and mortgage markets in the areas we serve and the housing market in general.”

Peak Loan Servicing already services a range of real estate loans and notes nationwide. HAMP certification and its agreement to advise and qualify homeowners under the strict guidelines of the MHA program earns the company expanded recognition, and with it the ability to service homeowner loans originally obtained under and now passed on to Peak by significant new sources including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. In addition to providing a benefit to homeowners, HAMP certification now opens the door for Peak Loan Servicing to work with asset managers and independent real estate investment firms who acquire mortgage pools from GSEs that are required to adhere to agency guidelines in servicing. “This presents an outstanding opportunity for us,” continues Sawyer, “to reach new markets and work with new clients as a result of our certification.”

Eli Tene, Managing Director and Principal of The Peak entities added, “We’re proud of this significant achievement by Peak Loan Servicing -- not just because of the strengthened endorsement it represents on the part of Treasury, HUD and the Obama Administration’s Making Home Affordable program but also because it represents another major step in fulfilling the Peak Corporate Network’s brand promise as a comprehensive real estate services provider for both consumers, investors, and other real estate professionals.”

Peak Loan Servicing, one of the entities represented by The Peak Corporate Network, serves as a one-stop outsourcing partner offering a complete solution for lenders, whether an individual investor, private equity fund, bank or other financial institution.

The Peak Corporate Network is a brand representing a group of separate entities offering mortgage lending, short sale services, 1031 exchange services, commercial workouts, trustee work, foreclosure services, real estate sale brokerage services, insurance, and escrow services for both commercial and residential real estate.
