Smart Destinations hires tourism marketing expert Pam Morin as Regional Director of Chicago.

Smart Destinations is pleased to announce that after an extensive search, they have selected Pam Morin as the Regional Director of Chicago. As Regional Director, Pam will cultivate and maintain relationships with Smart Destinations’ attraction partners in the Chicago area. She began her official duties with earlier this month.

Pam Morin is an experienced communications and marketing professional, with special expertise in integrated marketing, public relations and strategic planning. She has worked with the best cultural and educational institutions in Chicago and has a long history of implementing effective marketing strategies and successful tourism campaigns for several Chicago attractions. Pam is an alumna of Northern Illinois University.

Before joining Smart Destinations, Pam was the Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the Chicago Children’s Museum, one of Smart Destinations’ valued Chicago attraction partners. Prior to her work with this top ten cultural institution, Pam spent many years working with the City of Chicago’s Office of Tourism and Culture, where among many other projects, she coordinated marketing efforts for the famous Chicago landmark Millennium Park.

Pam will be working closely with Smart Destinations’ top Chicago attractions, including Shedd Aquarium, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Willis Tower.
