For businesses that involve processes requiring flow rate monitoring, Pipestock’s newest range of Digital Flow Meters is available. These Flow Meters are available from Pipestock.com’s online store in a variety of connection types. Flow Meter joint types include: Plain Inch, BSP Thread, Plain Metric and Flanged.

Digital Flow Meters are one of the most high-tech and accurate ways of measuring flow rate within an industrial pipe system. Pipestock are striving to become the one-stop-shop for all industrial pipe system needs, which is why they are now stocking Digital Flow Meters alongside their comprehensive industrial pipe systems. These Digital Flow Meters provide both flow rate readings and a cumulative flow reading. They are used for the recording of flow in applications such as OEM water treatment skids, small waste water treatment, facility water usage, water based cooling systems and sub-metering.

Pipestock carry the Digital Flow Meters with different attachments in order to provide for different requirements of individual customers. All models of the flow meter have a battery life of 5 years to ensure efficient flow rate monitoring for a maximum period of time. The meters can read in litres, cubic meters and imperial British Gallons depending upon the needs of individual industry. This versatility in measurement type allows the Digital Flow Meters to be used for an even wider variety of applications.

In terms of manufacture, the Digital Flow Meters utilise a turbine design with sizes varying depending upon attachment type. The Plain Inch Digital Flow Meter can be bought in sizes ½”-4”, the Plain Metric Digital Flow Meter is available in sizes 20mm-110mm, the BSP Threaded Digital Flow Meter is available in sizes ½”-2”, the Flanged Digital Flow Meter can be bought in imperial sizes ½”-4” and metric sizes 20mm-110mm.

Both the Plain Inch and Plain Metric Flow Meters utilise solvent cement in the fitting process, whilst the BSP Threaded Meter utilises a threaded joint and the Flange Meter has flanged ends drilled to BS4504 NP16. On all the meters the main housing is manufactured from PVCu material making it strong and durable. The accuracy of all of the Flow Meters is ± 3.0% and the Pressure Rating for all meters is 16BAR apart from the Flanged Meter that has a 15.3BAR Pressure Rating. All the Digital Flow Meters have an Operating Temperature range between 0°C to 60°C. The Metric, Inch and BSP Threaded Meters have Totaliser functions including: T1 Cumulative Total, T2 Batch 1 Total, T3 Batch 2 Total and Flow Rate measurements are available in Per Minute, Per Hour and Per Day timings.

Lastly, the Digital Flow Meters have been subject to specific approvals. All the Meters have the CE Mark making them quality Meters which can be bought at low prices from Pipestock.com. To find out more visit the Pipestock website.
