Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness’ Chief Creative Officer, Kathy Delaney, has been appointed to The Ad Council’s Campaign Review Committee (CRC), a group of respected members of the advertising community that acts as advisors and vets all of the creative work distributed by The Ad Council.

With 50 campaigns on The Ad Council’s docket, the CRC is responsible for approving any and all creative work coming from the Ad Council’s participating pro bono agencies. Committee members must be well respected and expertly qualified, as no Ad Council work can be produced without their approval.

“I am thrilled to be selected as a member of the Campaign Review Committee,” said Delaney upon appointment. “I have been a fan of The Ad Council’s work since I started out in the industry and strongly believe in the work they’re doing.”

Delaney joined Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness as Chief Creative Office of Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness, the most awarded creative agency specializing in consumer wellness, in February 2012. She leads all of the agency’s creative campaigns in its effort to enable brands to help consumers lead healthier and happier lives.

In addition to her CCO role at Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness, Delaney also serves as Global Chief Creative Office of Saatchi & Saatchi Health.

The Ad Council is a private, non-profit organization that has been responsible for producing, distributing and promoting public service campaigns on behalf of non-profit organizations and government agencies since 1942 when it first created the category of public service advertising. Campaigns revolve around issues related to improving the quality of life for children, preventive health, education, community well being and strengthening families.

Throughout her tenure in the industry, Delaney’s expertise has stemmed from her creative work on a multitude of clients including IKEA, Reebok, Kraft, Tanqueray, Mass Mutual, Snapple, Johnson and Johnson’s Tylenol, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Tommy Hilfiger, Monster.com, MCI, Foot Locker, Pfizer’s Zoloft and Zyrtec, Revlon and Almay.

Delaney has received numerous awards for her creative work, including ADDY’s, ANDY’s, Effie’s, One Show Gold, Communication Arts, and Art Directors Club. She is in the Museum of Modern Art’s permanent advertising collection and served as a judge at the 2010 Cannes Lions International Festival. The Business Insider recognized Delaney as one of the “33 Most Creative Women in Advertising” in 2013.
