Harnessing SecurTek's monitoring know-how is key to the "total solutions" delivery concept that is increasingly favoured in the worlds of computing and telecommunications.
Medicine Hat, Aberta (PRWEB) June 20, 2013
SecurTek Authorized Dealer Melhoff Security opened its new 10,000 square feet facility to the public today in Medicine Hat, Alberta. The event featuring technical tours, opportunities to chat with security system engineers and cheery live music, follows a recent merger with another local firm: ProComm Business Technology Solutions. This strategic move is aimed at favouring a one-stop shop approach to meeting customer expectations in a very dynamic market, explains business owner Jason Melhoff:
"The City of Medicine Hat is a major service centre for a large portion of Southern Alberta. The mix of urban and rural customers, with diverse needs, warranted a more streamlined approach that would allow us to carry on the Mellhoff Security tradition, while joining forces with an affinity partner to provide telephony, data and audio visual products. Something ProComm allows us to do, now with the support of a workforce of 34."
Melhoff adds that harnessing SecurTek's monitoring know-how is key to the "total solutions" delivery concept that is increasingly favoured in the worlds of computing and telecommunications.
SecurTek CEO Barry Rogers attended the event, noting Melhoff Security's considerable and sustained achievements as a SecurTek partner:
"Jason's team stands out year after year, recently earning a Dealer Retention Award at our National Conference in Charlottetown, PEI, along with Honourable Mentions for their customer service and sales efforts. They exemplify the nature of the ideal relationship between SecurTek and its Dealers across Canada."
Rogers points out that SecurTek Authorized Dealers are all locally-owned independent businesses, making a difference in their local community. "They help SecurTek stand out among North American monitoring solutions providers, because unlike many of the larger players, SecurTek does not operate its own installation division. We focus on monitoring, and on working with our dealer partners who know what the real needs are on the ground. This allows them to serve our customers better -- to be there for them as their needs evolve."
SecurTek is a leading provider of monitoring solutions and event related information services through an extensive dealer network and strategic partnerships, for 70,000 customers across Canada. A subsidiary of SaskTel Telecommunications, SecurTek earned the Five Diamond Certification for providing superior monitoring service in the North American security industry, awarded by the US-based Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA). SecurTek monitoring stations are Underwriters' Laboratories of Canada (ULC) certified, meaning SecurTek meets or exceeds the highest industry standards with regards to call overflow, staffing requirements, response procedures, computer systems and backup power systems. SecurTek offer burglary, commercial, fire, environmental, medical, video, access control and residential monitoring services.
