PSG Global Solutions, the world’s largest and fastest growing provider of outsourced recruiting support to the staffing and HR industry, was recognized as one of the U.S.’s Most Innovative Companies with a Bronze Stevie Award by the American Business AwardsSM. The Award winners were announced at a banquet in Chicago this week.
“We’re honored to be recognized among such a diverse group of innovative and high-performing companies and by an organization with a long history and reach when it comes to identifying talent,” said Brian Cotter, president of PSG Global Solutions. “This award is a milestone achievement for PSG Global Solutions and recognition for the growth we’ve achieved.”
PSG Global Solutions was recognized for its innovative approach to utilizing offshore services to help U.S. recruiters source job candidates more effectively. The PSG approach includes finding opportunities where others see problems in the staffing industry, such as the challenge of an industry with highly competitive dynamics and shrinking margins. PSG’s founders applied the offshore outsourcing concepts they developed for other industries to the staffing industry. Today, four of the ten largest staffing companies in the US use PSG support, as do dozens of smaller industry firms. With more than 300 employees after only four years of operations, PSG is realizing its vision of helping staffing firms be more competitive in the face of today’s challenges and future opportunities.
The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. More than 3,200 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Most Innovative Company of the Year, Management Team of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year, and Executive of the Year, among others. Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 320 executives nationwide who participated in the judging process this year.
“This year’s American Business Awards was outsized in every way,” said Michael Gallagher, Stevie Awards founder and president. “More entries and more judges than ever before, and I’d have to say the most impressive collection of nominations we’ve ever received. We congratulate all of this year’s Stevie winners for their outstanding work.”
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the trophies were presented to honorees during a gala banquet on Monday, June 17 at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park Hotel. More than 500 nominees and their guests attended. The presentations will be broadcast by the Business TalkRadio Network on Wednesday and Thursday nights.
