ColorWare is known for their excellence in customizing high-end electronics and now, they are offering the BlackBerry® Z10. BlackBerry is back in the game with an extraordinary, new, full touch-screen smartphone. The Z10 styling is minimalistic with straight edges and rounded corners, making it the perfect candidate for an exclusive custom paint finish from ColorWare.
The smartphone’s gesture-based interface focuses on communication. A simple swipe leads to the Hub, a place to manage all personal or work emails, text messages, and social media updates. All this can be done using the virtual keyboard that adapts to any writing style; making this smartphone, a memorable one.
Jason Cisewski, Vice President at ColorWare stated, “The Z10 is an impressive phone wielding innovative new camera features, key word recognition as you type, and the well-organized Hub. It’s a sleek, modern looking phone and we are excited to add it to our collection.”
In the ColorWare design studio, there are 46 paint colors to choose from including, solid and metallic, as well as matte and gloss finishes. There are 2 customizable elements on the Z10, which provide options for creating a one-of-a-kind smartphone. Once colors have been chosen and an order has been placed, the customization process begins.
The product goes through a laborious process of disassembly, cleaning, masking, painting, and inspection. Then, the product is buffed and reassembled. The product goes through final inspection and then is packaged into the original packaging.
ColorWare is currently offering the GSM factory unlocked, black version of the Z10. The product including customization is $800 and ships in about two to three weeks.
