Regatta Workwear has a long history of supporting good causes and charities in both the local South Yorkshire area and throughout the UK. Being brutally honest like all businesses supporting charities and causes it is good PR and works to support greater cognition with new customers for a relevant product. What makes the Sheffield Hospitals Charity (http://www.sheffieldhospitalscharity.org.uk/) exceptional and stand out is the incredible support and work they performed when Iain Martin, one of Regatta Workwear’s brightest lights, and his wife were in Jessops hospital, Sheffield, enduring the stress of having premature twins who needed round the clock care and monitoring. New parents face challenges which can seem insurmountable at the best of times however with premature twins this period can seem spirit crushing and beyond comprehension to anyone who has never experienced this heart ache and anxiety. Sheffield Hospital Charity who were established to enhance the service provided by the NHS by providing additional care through skilled staff and specialists all the way through to securing state of the art equipment for units and wards to increase efficiency and patient support. The charity has a simple mandate to ensure the many thousands of patients in five hospitals around Sheffield receive often invaluable additional care and specialist treatment which can make all the difference for those in need and their families.
Iain said, “We are so thankful to all the staff at Jessop Wing hospital who helped Gemma and I through some pretty unsettling and uncertain times. For this we are eternally grateful and we want to give something back to ensure this charity grows from strength to strength so others patients can benefit from this great service in adverse times just as we did.”
Regatta Workwear (http://www.regattaworkwear.com/) has teamed up with local firm BHI to help produce marketing and promotional equipment to raise the profile and increase donations to the Sheffield Hospital Charity. Regatta and BHI are producing banners and artwork to encourage participation and engagement from local communities who may not need the charity’s service right now but may well do in the future. Regatta Workwear have also supplied waterproof clothing to the fund raisers and staff when staging events which is always a welcome advantage when working outdoors in the wonderful British climate allowing them to spend less money on essential clothing and more in donations which will directly benefit the wider community. BHI have kindly donated their time and technical attributes to produce T-Shirts with printing which is accessible to all the fundraisers associated with the hospital charity and much more in support from designers and printers who produce the material to promote awareness.
Iain further added, “There are countless charities out there to donate money to but knowing how vital and helpful the Sheffield Hospital Charity is Regatta Workwear and BHI (http://www.bhi-workwear.com/) would urge you to look close to home if you live in the Sheffield and South Yorkshire area because this charity can sincerely make a difference in your life.”
This sentiment is echoed by the whole of the BHI, Regatta Workwear and Sheffield Hospital Charity teams where this is the first of many years of working together giving something back which will directly benefit a great many people which will in turn help to provide a better community for the whole of Sheffield and the surrounding areas.
