Today, Insightpool, the leader in Social Engagement Automation, announces the addition of marketing and startup industry expert Allen Nance and technology industry veteran Jean-Luc Chatelain to its recently created advisory board.
Allen Nance is the founder, president and CEO of WhatCounts, one of the largest email marketing firms in the world, representing brands such as Costco, Alaskan Airlines, LiveNation and Amazon. Prior to the formation of WhatCounts (Mansell Group) in 2000, he was the director of business development at Intellimedia, where he oversaw all of the company’s sales and marketing efforts. Nance also serves as a mentor for Georgia Tech’s startup programs Flashpoint ATDC, and is the Chairman of Springbot.
“Many of the elements in social analytics are similar to what we experienced in email marketing,” said Nance of his selection to Insightpool’s advisory board. “The synergies are endless, and it’s exciting to contribute to building the next wave of social communication.”
Jean-Luc Chatelain is EVP and CTO of DataDirect Networks, Inc. Previously, Chatelain was a distinguished Hewlett-Packard fellow, vice president and chief technology officer, and was responsible for leading HP’s information management and business analytics strategy. Chatelain also held technology management positions at high-profile organizations such as Kodak Health Imaging, ADAC Labs and Digital Design. Along with business intelligence, Chatelain brings vast knowledge in computer science and electrical engineering to the board.
