HealthTell Appoints Dr. Ted Tarasow Vice President Product Development

Molecular diagnostic developer and clinical laboratory veteran Ted Tarasow has joined HealthTell, Inc. as Vice President Product Development. HealthTell is developing highly accurate, sensitive tests for early detection and monitoring of cancer and other chronic diseases.

“Dr. Tarasow has a proven track that spans early phase research, product development, and commercial laboratory operations. This experience makes him uniquely suited to succeed at HealthTell”, said Bill Colston, CEO.

Most recently Vice President of Research and Development at Tethys Bioscience, Dr. Tarasow brings a keen understanding of what it takes to develop and operate a transformational new medical diagnostic service.

Prior to joining Tethys Bioscience, Dr. Tarasow held senior leadership positions in multiple organizations, including Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Invenux and NeXstar Pharmaceuticals. A common theme across these companies was Dr. Tarasow’s ability to build and effectively lead multi-disciplinary teams responsible for the research, development and technical commercialization of complex science and technologies.

Dr. Tarasow received his B.S. degree in Chemistry from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Scripps Research Institute.
