Today the Ironheart Foundation launches a new, ‘game-changing’ fundraising campaign, “Kickstart Your Heart”, which allows participants around the world to race for free when raising funds for the Foundation.
The Ironheart Foundation will reimburse entry fees for any race, any place in the world for any person. All one needs to do is fundraise twice the amount of the race entry fee and Ironheart reimburses the individual the registration cost(s). Here’s how it works:
1. Race participants set up their own fundraising page online
2. Set your fundraising goal
3. Once your target is reached, Ironheart automatically pays you the amount of your registration amount. This can be for a single race or multiple events.
For example, let’s say you register for a full Ironman race at a $650 entry fee. Set up your fundraising page, set your goal at $1300, and once you’ve reached your goal, Ironheart cuts you a check for $650.
Talking about this exciting new initiative Dave Watkins, Chairman of the Ironheart Foundation said, “Our organization is thrilled to launch this one-of-a-kind campaign that is completely in line with our goal to inspire people around the world to get active and live a heart healthy lifestyle through sport. It is available to anyone who wants to do any sort of a race from a 5k walk to an Ironman Triathlon and anything in between.”
