Arcbazar announces a creative service to remake the American front door.

Whether it is a colorful garden, an original front door, or an inviting porch, the right curb appeal leads a great first impression to any home. With so many small remodeling projects, the outside of the house is often left to last on the list of many homeowners. However, even very small changes can produce big and rewarding results.

Arcbazar, a Cambridge-based start-up company, offers an innovative and easy solution to create customized home exterior spaces by crowdsourcing architectural design. Each project is launched online and designers worldwide compete and submit solutions for the new space. Clients can then choose the solution they like most, based on their initial evaluation criteria. “Our goal is to make high-end design possible to regular homeowners with everyday small-scale home remodeling projects. We want our clients to be able to create their dream spaces in an easy, affordable and fun way,” says Ana Batista, co-founder of Arcbazar.com. Hundreds of clients around the globe have already used Arcbazar for successful home remodeling or interior design projects. “We have helped clients build great kitchens, bathrooms, basements, living paces, or just redoing hardscape and landscape.”

Joanne G., a homeowner from New Jersey, was looking to “add an entry front porch to add dimension, style, and drama” to her colonial house. The house needed a design that could bring balance to the façade and would welcome visitors. Joanne runs a design competition on Arcbazar and received fourteen proposals, ultimately opting for a design from Jeff Ribnik, an architect from GA, USA. A similar experience had Catherine G., who was looking for an exterior update and curb appeal that could bring a “cottage feel” to her home in Chicago. Catherine’s project received eight entries, and she elected the solution presented by Edlira Çoku, a designer from Albania. See all great curb appeal renovations at http://www.arcbazar.com.
