The article, Mcommerce Takes 15% of UK Retail Ecommerce Sales, published 20th June, reveals that digital sales, such as online and mobile, in the UK, take a larger percentage of total retail sales than most countries around the world, with mobile sales alone expected to top £6.61 billion sales. It is estimated that these digital sales will represent 11.5% of UK total retail sales this year, compared with 10.2% in 2012. eMarketer also predicts that 58.3% of digital shoppers, will browse or research products on smartphones in 2013.
