Sheriff Peter Hammond sentenced Gladys Williamson to six months in jail and told her:
“This is a really serious offence”
During the time Williamson was the carer of her victim, she was given access to his bank card so she could buy clothes and other essentials. During the hearing at Aberdeen Sheriff Court the defendant admitted stealing the money.
