It takes a village to raise a child. And today’s village is made up of parents, nannies, grandparents, friends, babysitters, neighbors and schools. If you’re a parent, we understand your fears, concerns and issues with finding the best care for your child. If you’re a caregiver, then we understand the difficulties that can come with childcare and communicating with parents.

Our community is a national, online support system for parents, nannies and caregivers to connect and swap recommendations. By opening the lines of communication, we are empowering those involved to share real-world advice, experience and tips. Our goal is to make family life and childcare easier for all. While you’re here, we invite you to stay and discuss parenting, families and work or life issues. Our forum is open for you to chat, vent, complain or rave about anything you’d like to share.

Who Are We? was founded by Nate Poupko, who began his own nanny search when he relocated his family from Florida to California. Without the help of other local parents for recommendations or online resources to guide him, he found himself interviewing dozens of nannies and dealing with nanny agencies that hadn’t done the pre-screening and background checks that they promised.

Nate eventually found the right nanny for his family. But he wanted to create a free, online environment where parents could engage in honest and open discussions about nannies, babysitters and childcare centers – so they wouldn’t encounter the same challenges his family did.

“You can go online to find reviews of toaster ovens, TVs and cars; so you should be able to find reviews of the people who will care for your loved ones as well.” – Nate Poupko
