Capterra, an online service that connects buyers and sellers of business software, today announced the launch of its completely overhauled website, With the redesigned site, Capterra has also gone live with nine new, industry-specific blogs, aimed at helping businesses make better software choices. More than 150 software industry experts write for these new blogs, which cover software buying advice for several categories, including medical software, church management software, and field service technology.

"Capterra helps people find virtually any kind of business software, and many times general advice just won’t cut it," said Capterra CEO, Michael Ortner. "These blogs are much more focused than what we’ve seen anywhere else. They get to the real questions buyers face in the software purchasing process."

The blog is one of the key components in a redesign of Capterra’s website, which showcases a responsive web design.

"People don’t sit at their desks all the time anymore. This new design provides for a better user experience, whether they’re using a laptop, tablet or smartphone," explained Capterra Web Designer, Scott Montminy.
