TTR Sotheby’s International Realty today announced it will become the first corporate sponsor of the Athenaeum in Alexandria, Va., home to the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Association (NVFAA), in support of the organization’s fine arts programs.

Clients of TTR Sotheby's International Realty will benefit from the sponsorship through advanced access to new exhibits at the Athenaeum, invitations to VIP pre-opening events and opportunities to meet the artists and hear what inspired their work, according to Mark Lowham, Managing Partner.

“With the opening of a new office in the Old Town district of Alexandria later this summer, TTR Sotheby’s International Realty looks forward to establishing a strong partnership with NVFAA and broadening the firm’s dedication to the surrounding community,” Lowham said. “TTR Sotheby’s International Realty is known for its excellence in the luxury real estate market. By sponsoring the Athenaeum, we continue to fulfill our goal to support the arts and the community of artists in Northern Virginia and beyond.”

NVFAA owns and maintains the historic Athenaeum, where the association hosts art exhibits, lectures, performing arts events and visual arts education programs featuring local and regional artists.

“We are honored and delighted to have TTR Sotheby's International Realty as our first corporate partner and to have the legacy of the Sotheby’s International Realty® brand behind us,” said Catherine Aselford, executive director of NVFAA. “Their support will continue our goal of establishing programs that enrich the cultural life of Northern Virginia and the surrounding metropolitan area.”
