“Our new approach seeks to take the guess work out of the process by providing consumers with assurances that their puppy is coming from a breeder that follows the requirements and guidelines set by Animaroo.com."

Animaroo.com, LLC, today announced it has launched a new online portal to connect families and individuals seeking purebred puppies with ethical and responsible breeders. The new portal is part of a larger website redesign and launch of new apps for Animaroo.com. Animaroo.com is testing out a new way of advertising puppies online that will set them apart from other online puppy sales websites.
“There have been suggestions online puppy sites are supplied by breeders who treat their dogs poorly,” says Megan Davidson, Project Manager of the Animaroo.com redesign. “Our new approach seeks to take the guess work out of the process by providing consumers with assurances that their puppy is coming from a breeder that follows the requirements and guidelines set by Animaroo.com.”
To ensure puppies advertised on Animaroo.com come from a responsible breeder, the new Animaroo.com defines what a responsible breeder should look like through the 5 Star Breeder Program and encourages each breeder to be transparent to their buyer and provide as much information about themselves as possible to earn all 5 stars. The first star is earned by uploading their puppy health guarantee and return policy.
To further assist individuals looking for just the right purebred puppy, the new Animaroo.com will contain a puppy selection app on the home page that will allow users to input information on their personal living circumstances and activity factors. The app will then provide the visitor with a selection of puppies for sale that best match their situation.
“Animaroo.com believes strongly that people looking to add a puppy or dog to their family should have as much information as possible regarding the health of that puppy,” Davidson adds. “At the same time, it is important to match individuals up with the right breed given the lifestyle lived by those individuals. Doing so creates a lifelong bond between the owner and their puppy, which helps reduce the number of dogs ending up at the pound.”
