LEDs have long been used in highly technical yet everyday items such as televisions and smartphones so it comes as no surprise that they are likely to be used in the new iPhone smartphone.
(PRWEB UK) 25 June 2013
According to 9 to 5 Mac in an article published on the 24th June 2013, the smartphone designer Apple has said it will be adding dual colour LED ‘SmartFlash’ to the next iPhone. The new feature is set to improve the use of the camera in low light levels and create a brighter camera flash, in turn improving the quality of every photo. The new LED dual bulbs are said to use a white and yellow base colour rather than just the current white and make environments lighter rather than compromise the real colour of the image.
The news is of interest to LED ecommerce supplier Simple Lighting Company who have been supplying consumers and businesses with LEDs throughout the UK and regularly highlighting the benefits of using them rather than incandescent bulbs. On hearing the news about changes to LEDs, an expert member of the team said:
“LEDs have long been used in highly technical yet everyday items such as televisions and smartphones so it comes as no surprise that they are likely to be used in the new iPhone smartphone. This type of use highlights the complex and highly usefulness of LED, something that we have tried to emphasise to our customers as well as its energy and cost efficiency.”
