Green Deal Solutions, set up to capitalise on the Government’s Green Deal scheme, reaches an important milestone this month as it celebrates two successful years.

Founded by managing director, Dean Murray and technical director, John Leah, the energy efficiency firm employs 33 staff and provides work to a range of sub-contractors.

Starting in 2011 with an investment from the Enterprise Finance Guarantee Scheme, GDS achieved an impressive turnover of £1.5 million in its first year – with plans to double this in 2013.

“Our business is going from strength to strength – and I’m delighted to report that we have met and exceeded all of our targets,” said Dean. “Our aim has always been to make a difference in terms of making homes and businesses more energy efficient but also to create and provide local jobs.

“We have done everything we set out to do and now it is time to push on with the Green Deal, taking local people out of unemployment – and others out of fuel poverty.”

Green Deal Solutions is one of the leading providers of energy efficiency technologies and advice in the north west of England, and is PAS 2030 certified. It works in partnership with property developers, social housing providers, local authorities and energy suppliers and third party services with accredited partners to ensure a complete service for all clients.
