UpSync, a leading developer of mobile device software for enterprise sales and marketing, is announcing a new leadership team to accelerate growth of their flagship product. The UpSync digital platform is a third generation application that includes an iPad interface which enables sales reps to easily showcase and share their materials with customers and a web-based content management system for marketing to control their assets, field communications, and brand.

In May, founder Brad Gilbert turned over the reins of UpSync to new CEO Severan Johnson who has been rapidly building his team. New additions to the team include Christopher Vincent and David Prinster, who will serve as Chief Operating Officer and VP of Marketing respectively. Mr. Vincent is a serial entrepreneur and founder of three technology companies with extensive experience in business strategy and startup development. Mr. Prinster is a twenty-year tech industry veteran who comes to UpSync from VMware, where he served as Director of Marketing. Mr. Gilbert, who has been at the forefront of new communication technologies for 29 years, remains on as the Chief Financial Officer.

Severan Johnson honed his sales and leadership skills through his rapid ascent in the local tech community. He joined UpSync in November 2012 as the Senior VP of Sales and Marketing prior to earning the CEO role. In his view, “The lines between Sales and Marketing in the new enterprise need to disappear - they need to function as one cohesive entity. Companies who embrace and mobilize this paradigm will be the most efficient and effective at acquiring new customers and will outrun their competition.”
