Homburg Academy, in partnership with Homburg Institute, celebrates the launch of their e-Learning Bachelor and Diploma programs in commercial real estate with a free five-week Strategic Negotiation course. Taught by Dr. Juan Diaz, this course introduces students to concepts of mediation, negotiation, and conflict resolution, giving them a head start for the upcoming fall semester.

The Strategic Negotiation course enables students to try Homburg's unique e-learning approach. This promotion marks the online Real Estate education partners' latest effort to extend their e-Learning offerings to high school graduates and qualified professionals. The course uses online video lectures and interactive case studies to teach the fundamentals of business negotiation prior to the start of the university's programs in September.

Course instructor, Dr. Juan Diaz, draws on a vast knowledge of international negotiation to engage students in class discussions and collaborative learning. Aside from his impressive academic credentials as instructor and researcher for the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy and the University of Frankfurt, Dr. Diaz has helped resolve conflicts in such political hot spots as Bosnia and Herzegovina, Egypt, Kosovo, Macedonia, Nepal, and Serbia.

The Strategic Negotiation course begins on July 29, 2013. Admittance is restricted to the first 24 students who have applied for any of Homburg Academy's four-year Bachelor programs, or Homburg Institute's two-year Diploma programs, starting in September 2013. The application deadline for the free course is July 15, so students are advised to submit their applications early to secure their place.
