Healthy vending services leader, Fresh Healthy Vending, secured 83 new locations across the country in May. This is a record number for the organization, the largest healthy vending company in America. Prime vending location contracts are part of the services provided for their network of healthy vending franchisees.
The 83 new locations are scattered throughout the country and include several recognizable names, including: AT&T in Spring, Texas; Mach Air Force Base in Hemet, California; Florence Civic Center in Florence, South Carolina; Grand Rapids Public Library in Rockford, Missouri; Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Spokane, Washington; King George YMCA in Hughesville, Maryland, and the AVEDA Institute Headquarters in West Chester, Ohio.
The new locations will increase the opportunity for many more people to experience the Fresh Healthy Vending difference: the machines offer only nutritious, wholesome snacks and beverages that provide healthy options from vending machines.
Headquartered in San Diego, California, Fresh Healthy Vending has a team of 23 dedicated Community Wellness Advocates that represent franchisees in their chosen markets. Using a variety of proprietary techniques, the Advocates compile lists of potentially successful locations. They contact the decision makers at the sites and help them understand the positive options for making healthy choices available for employees, customers and students. When interest is indicated, the local franchisee is notified and asked to visit the location. With professional business cards in hand and wearing a Fresh Healthy Vending uniform, the franchisee brings an assortment of tasty products and healthy vending business knowledge along to the meeting. Menus for the healthy vending machines can be explored and marketing materials, including brochures, can be left behind. The Fresh Healthy Vending Community Wellness Advocates handle the rest, including any legal responsibilities for setting up a contract at the location.
“Working as partners with companies like the AVEDA Institute, YMCAs and AT&T is exciting for a company like Fresh. Our core values are similar, making it a perfect fit,” said Brenda Bowers, Community Wellness Advocate for Fresh Healthy Vending.
Fresh Healthy Vending has committed $1,000,000 in grant funds to qualified locations around the country that are prepared to provide the healthy vending option. To encourage communities to offer nourishing snacks, the company created FreshandHealthy.org with a website designed to motivate managers at eligible locations to sign up for a FREE Healthy Vending Machine. The company offers up to $500 up front per machine to the location on behalf of its franchise network. Fresh Healthy Vending also offers additional monthly financial incentives to keep the healthy machines in the locations it secures.
