After thousands of hours of teaching singing to anyone and everyone, Vocademy has issued the challenge to the UK public that no matter how awful a singing voice, they can improve it and teach it to sing!
Sussex, UK (PRWEB UK) 28 June 2013
Vocademy is a company built in Brighton that was originally developed just for young people to learn to sing. This quickly developed and ten schools were opened across the UK. Focusing on fun, exciting lessons to help support and motivate the students Vocademy gave young people the opportunity to explore their voices. From the success of these classes, and the company’s passion to help all aspiring singers, Vocademy set up one to one private singing lessons for all ages and currently stands as a school that can teach anyone through versatile, trained and enthusiastic singing teachers.
Now, after thousands of hours of teaching singing to anyone and everyone, Vocademy has issued the challenge to the UK public that no matter how awful a singing voice, they can improve it and teach it to sing.
"I have all sorts of enquiries everyday," says chief administrator Jenna. "From professional singers preparing for an audition asking for guidance, to parents of a 7 year old whose dream is to be the next pop star and X Factor winner… anything goes here at Vocademy! We have a teacher training programme that we are very proud of. Every student, even in the group singing classes, is given personal guidance. We want to see our students progress, whether that be with their confidence, performance skills or singing techniques. And, we now feel we have reached the point that we can quite literally work miracles. OK, so that may be a bit of an exaggeration, but we're confident we can help anyone improve."
The support doesn’t stop in the classroom from Vocademy either. With social media the singing teachers are able to give daily advice, regular blogs (for teachers, parents and kids) and act as a 24 hour contact.
"It’s a real community. We have Twitter, Instagram, Soundcloud… we’ve got it all. Students use our Facebook page the most to share videos, pictures and their thoughts on singing. It’s so amazing to see them support each other and to think that we have made it like this: an open platform for anyone to find their voice."
So, for any horrific howlers or screaming soloists, if you are looking to take on the Vocademy challenge (either via one to one singing lessons or in group classes), you can find out more on their website (http://www.vocademy.co.uk) or call the office to speak to one of the team.
