William Adams, MD, a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon from Louisville, KY, has joined the staff of SkinSmart Dermatology in Sarasota, FL.
Dr. Adams received a bachelor of science degree from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC and his doctorate from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, KY where he was co-valedictorian of his class.
Following a residency in dermatology, he completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic cancer surgery at the University of Kentucky, Louisville.

Dr. Adams enjoys traveling, was a member of the football and basketball teams while in college and served as an emergency medical technician.
