Mara Fineshriber joins CUnet, focusing on enrollment marketing for traditional schools and exclusive inquiry product development.

A former marketing director at Western Governors University, Fineshriber applied her passion for marketing strategy and analytics to nearly double conversion rates of the institution’s student acquisition campaign and deliver a tenfold increase in enrollments during her seven years with the school. Fineshriber began her career as an award-winning graphic artist, and later became an accomplished creative strategy director focused on one-to-one lead generation, lead conversion and retention-based advertising. Fineshriber has experience creating and managing marketing campaigns in virtually every channel and medium and has proven success communicating with niche markets to drive action. While with Western Governors University, Fineshriber sat on the National Leads Council and was a speaker at LeadsCon and the Targus Summit.

In her role at CUnet, Fineshriber will work with traditional schools to apply best practices to their online-based enrollment marketing campaigns. In addition, Fineshriber will provide oversight of a portfolio of CUnet inquiry generation products, including DreamDegree and, working to improve the experience for students while lowering school cost of student acquisition and growing enrollment growth.
