Sochi 2014 Marketing Program

Delivering truly successful Games in 2014 is only possible through joint efforts of the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee and its Partners.

The Partner’s financial contributions, the latest technologies and developments, and most importantly, the personal involvement of managers and employees, are integral components of the success of the Games. Since the program began in 2009, the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee attracted a total financial investment of about $1.3 billion dollars, over three times the obligations of the Bid Book. For reference, the total sum is over one and a half times more than the Vancouver 2010 Organizing Committee earned during its lifespan as an OCOG. The investment raised marks the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee as the most successful Winter Games Organizing Committee in the history of the Olympic Movement.

As enshrined in the "Olympic law" of the Russian Federation (Federal Law No. 310-ФЗ dated 01.12.2007), "the right to use the Russian Olympic and Paralympic marks can only be obtained by the exclusive TOP Partners of the IOC and the IPC, the Sochi 2014 National Partners at all levels, as well as companies that have entered into the appropriate license agreement with the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee.

IOC TOP Partners are companies that have entered into an agreement with the IOC for several four-year cycles. In addition, the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee offers several levels of partnership in the Sochi2014 Marketing Program, concluding agreements with Partners for the right to be associated with the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Sochi in Russia.
